Phase I - Feasibility: Limited or Complete

LIMITED:
The limited feasibility report is designed to meet the needs of smaller commercial, industrial, or custom projects. It will provide a simple snapshot to determine whether it makes sense to move forward with more comprehensive feasibility evaluation, or initiate a GeoExchange design. Our effort to produce this abridged report is approximately 5 hours, and includes the elements from the full report that are typically of most importance: Geologic assessment, and a generalized cost and payback analysis. The partial feasibility report is not comprehensive, and the rough estimates we make will be final and based on assumptions from your completed input.

Additional consultation or refinement of the information may be proposed if you wish to extend the effort to a Complete Feasibility.

COMPLETE:
We will provide a comprehensive report on the specific key elements impacting the feasibility of a GeoExchange application for your project. Our effort to produce a full report depends on the scope of the project, and completeness of the information you provide. Typical full feasibility reports can range between 20 and 30 hours, however you may choose to request additional consultation hours to further refine your project elements in addition to initially contracted design services.

Included with the full report is a follow-up consultation to discuss with you the elements that impact your project. These elements may include, but are not limited to (click on the links below for further description):

• Coordinate preliminary heating & cooling load:

• Evaluate local geological information for geothermal suitability:
  
• Recommend most appropriate Earth-Coupling method:
  
• Estimate future energy unit costs based upon preliminary heat gain/loss information.
  
• Compute a ten-year cash flow analysis for heating, cooling, domestic hot water, and maintenance for your project.
