1. A properly installed geothermal system will give you the least expensive method for heating, cooling and air conditioning your home. You’ll see savings of 50 to70% in operating and maintenance costs over even the most efficient fossil-based heating and hot water and traditional air conditioning systems.
2. There is no limitation nor any need for “second stage” backup systems for geothermal in your New England home. Properly designed systems will provide for 100% of your heating, hot water and cooling needs.
