Well over 11,000 Geothermal Heat Pump Systems (GeoExchange) have been conceptually designed and supplied by Water Energy Distributors. We are the largest and oldest designer and supplier of Geothermal and specialty heat pumps in the northeastern United States. We also supply other specialty heat pumps, trim items, and controls. Since 1974 our design and supply services have been provided to installing contractors and dealers, engineers and architects. Today we provide equipment and assistance to over 225 installers, architects, and engineers throughout New England and nearby New York State (Long Island & NY City).

We are always pleased to introduce any homeowner, regulatory agency or builder to the benefits and ease of installation of the GeoExchange space conditioning system. Design and distribution of GeoExchange space conditioning systems, specialty controls and trim has been the primary business of the Water Energy Distributors staff. We are proud to be listed as "Design Assistants", "GeoMERIT (marketing consulting)" and "Geothermal Trainers" by the national Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium (GHPC). The International Geothermal Heat Pump Association (IGSPHA) also has certified Water Energy Distributors personnel as geothermal instructors and installers.

Design assistance to engineers and architects on geothermal's effect on energy use, economic and environmental effects of the GeoExchange system has been an active role for Water Energy Distributors' staff and associated engineers and analysts. These consulting activities are a smaller, but important part of our business. We are presently or have been under agreements with many engineering firms and nearly every major electric utility from New Jersey to New York and New England. We distribute the highest efficiency geothermal heat pump on the market today, the ClimateMaster Genesis & Ultra-Classic. ClimateMaster is the largest producer of water source heat pumps in the world today. Their family of geothermal heat pumps extends from residential to commercial and heavy industrial energy saving equipment. We have also rounded-out sizing and performance gaps of ClimateMaster's equipment with other premium manufacturer's geothermal heat pumps. Other specialty heat pumps including Crispaire/E-Tech water heating heat pumps, dehumidifier heat pumps and waste heat recovery heat pumps.

Periodic training programs for engineers, architects, dealers and installing contractors provide our primary method of maintaining the high consumer satisfaction we anticipate from our dealers. Our installing contractors and dealers are expected to make proper installation, provide continuing competent service and support to the home and building owners using our products.
